  Grief coaching is a specialized form of coaching that supports individuals who are grieving the loss of someone or something (such as: a job, empty nest or relationship). The coach provides guidance and support to help clients navigate the complexities of grief and find healing and hope.

 While both coaching and therapy involve a supportive relationship between the coach/therapist and the client, coaching is focused on achieving specific goals and creating positive change, while therapy is focused on healing emotional pain and addressing mental health issues.

 During a coaching session, the coach works with the client to identify their goals, explore their thoughts and feelings, and develop strategies to achieve those goals

 Coaching sessions typically last  an hour. The frequency of sessions can vary depending on the client's needs and goals.
